John is a highly motivated professional with over 30 years ‘hands – on’ senior executive experience managing and developing multi-disciplined teams. Commencing his career on the ‘ground floor’ he rapidly aspired to the position of Managing Director and has a comprehensive understanding of what it is to run a business and manage people.

John has been coaching for over 10 years and is an NLP practitioner, Emotions and Behaviours at Work Emotional Intelligence Facilitator, MAPP Licenced Practitioner, Workplace Mediator, Trainer and Mentor. In 2010, John joined James Caan and Bev James’ EBA (Entrepreneurs Business Academy) Business Coaching team.

I have worked in the industry for six years as a coach and mentor working with people from all walks of life. I am a Master of Neurolinguistic Analysis and have studied the principles of values and beliefs in the workplace. I am a director of the International Business and Personal Development Association. As a communications specialist I also train business executives in the concept and application of Non-Violent Communication.

In my previous incarnation I worked in Education, working in both middle and higher management with responsibility for staff and their personal and professional development. I also played a major role in innovation and design within the business. I wrote many courses for examination boards, worked with a team developing the Numeracy Strategy as well as acting as chair and motivator for in-house development within teams and departments.

With a wealth of experience as a senior executive in the Financial Services and Healthcare sectors, Ivan is a former Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, and was Secretary & Deputy Chief Executive of an organisation with assets approaching £600 million, and subsequently ran the National Case Referral Centre for the UK’s largest occupational healthcare provider, delivering a first class service for the likes of the Inland Revenue, HM Prison Service, and BT.

Ivan has worked with a variety of companies ranging from the 14th largest in the world to “one-man-bands”, and in locations ranging from the USA to Ireland and the UK. He is comfortable delivering one to one coaching, corporate training programmes, and facilitating larger group events at any level.

An Accredited Coach, Certified Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Ivan is also qualified at corporate level in banking, building societies, and insurance.
